You create a pot, share the link with friends and family, everyone contributes, and once you close the pot the funds are released to you.

You can share your pot link however you like. Send it by WhatsApp, text, or email, or copy the link to share on your socials.

No. Contributors can give securely without creating an account.

The 5% covers payment processing with Stripe and helps us run Party Pot sustainably. It keeps things simple and fair with no hidden charges.

The fee is automatically taken when the pot is closed and funds are released.

This helps keep transactions efficient, covers processing costs, and makes sure contributions are meaningful.

Most people close their pot before the celebration so that funds are ready for the gift. But you can keep it open longer if you’d like. The host can redeem the balance at any point, even before the pot closes.

All payments are processed safely through Stripe, a trusted global payment provider.

Yes. Stripe protects every transaction, and Party Pot® only releases funds when a pot is closed.

Absolutely. We take data protection seriously and comply with UK GDPR.

No. Contribution amounts are private unless the giver chooses to share their name and message.

Yes. You can add a deadline to your pot to encourage contributions in time for your occasion.

Yes. You can update details like the title, description, and deadline even after creating your pot.

Once your pot reaches its closing date, we’ll send you a reminder so you don’t miss it!

If no action is taken within that time, your pot will be marked as “expired”. The funds will remain safely held by our payment provider (Stripe) for up to 6 months. After that period, unclaimed balances may be refunded to contributors where possible, or handled in line with our unclaimed funds policy.

We do this to keep things secure and compliant, and to make sure money never just sits around forgotten.

Right now, Party Pot is only available in the UK.
